What do you get when you take a talented designer and a passionate developer with a habit of dreaming big? You get Andromedia. After both graduating from the CMDC program at Washington State University Vancouver, we decided to combine our strengths and pave our own way into the future, helping small businesses pave their own way as well.

How our team met
Before Andromedia, we worked together as team leads for the “WSU Vancouver is” marketing campaign for the Marketing and Communications department Washington State University Vancouver. Salina led the multimedia design team, while Austin led the web development team, working together to create the campaign’s website. It was then that we discovered how well we both worked together.

The team at Andromedia wants to revolutionize the way that small businesses go about creating their websites. Rather than using a service such as a website builder, used by many current small businesses, we want to offer a way to make your business stand out from the crowd with a customized design and hand-coded approach.

Austin Fierst
Born and raised in Vancouver, WA, prior to starting Andromedia, I served in the Army and graduated from WSU Vancouver. Growing up, I was always tinkering with anything and everything to learn about how things worked. It's a habit I don't think I'll ever outgrow, as today I find myself passionate about web development and continuously learning.
Salina Salazar
My career in design began over a decade ago when I realized how design can impact businesses. With a background in marketing, after gaining industry experience, I decided to further my education by obtaining a bachelor's degree from WSU Vancouver. My mission is to assist more business owners to stand out in a busy market. If I'm not working, you can find me jetting off on an international adventure or discovering the great outdoors with my one-year-old son.
